Why Support the DenverGuards?
The DenverGuards helps at-risk youth change their lives and improve their communities through
its scholarship and campership programs. This all-volunteer
organization pilots a more engaged and productive society from which 90
cents of every donated dollar goes directly to the programs it
supports.
Donations provide
- Inner-city youth the opportunity to experience nature and learn about environmental stewardship and sustainability
- At-risk
students an opportunity to benefit from the intense personal attention
and private education they need to break cycles of poverty, violence,
and drug abuse
- Greater Denver Area schools and youth organizations the opportunity to grow and maintain educational and recreational programs
- Dedicated parents the help they need to guide their children from underperforming neighborhood schools
- Disadvantaged
youth the opportunity for mentoring, confidence-building and training
in areas such as nonviolent conflict resolution and community leadership
